Tech-Girls Committee
We are looking for motivated individuals who are passionate about expanding access to and interest in STEM fields for girls to join the Tech-Girls Committee.
Outreach Coordinator (open)
Duties & Responsibilities: The Outreach Coordinator would be responsible for engaging community through:
- Sending out monthly newsletters
- Updating and managing the website and social media
- Reaching out to community contacts to recruit more participants from racially, socioeconomically, and geographically diverse communities
Time Commitment: 3-4 hours/week

partnership Coordinator (open)
Duties & Responsibilities:

- Review requests for partnership
- Meet with potential partners to see if goals align
- Communicate with potential and current partners
- Maintain partner retention through maintaining relationships

Fundraising / Development (Open)
Duties & Responsibilities:

- Collaborate in creation of fundraising goals
- Find and apply for grants
- Plan fundraisers

- Have experience with grant writing
- Enjoy planning fundraising events
Logistics Coordinator (Open)
Duties & Responsibilities:
Time Commitment: 1-2 hours/week (may be more closer to events)

- A logistics coordinator focuses on creating accessible and smooth programs through:
- Ensuring programs are accessible to participants, including transportation, location, and cost.
- Managing transportation assistance requests from families and community partners
- Securing locations for events at the request of programs coordinators
- Manage other logistical challenges for events as they arise
- Ensuring programs are accessible to participants, including transportation, location, and cost.
Time Commitment: 1-2 hours/week (may be more closer to events)

Volunteer Coordinator (Open)
Duties & Responsibilities:
Time Commitment: 2 hours/week

- Recruit volunteers with diverse backgrounds
- Provides brief training to volunteers

Program Coordinator (Open for Middle school)
Duties & Responsibilities:
Time Commitment: 2-3 hours/week

- Develop engaging and age-specific programs
- Plan and manage events
- Receive and facilitate consistent feedback from participants to gauge what is working and improvements

Data / Engagement Coordinator
Duties & Responsibilities:

- Data collection, analysis, and reporting
- Analyze participant data and demographics to help direct outreach efforts
- Respond to data requests from other committee members
- Present relevant data on demographic diversity, retention rates, etc. to committee

Chairperson
Duties & Responsibilities:
Time Commitment: Varies based on meeting schedules and event planning needs.

- Heading committee meetings and determining meeting schedules.
- Setting comprehensive agendas for meetings in collaboration with committee members.
- Holding ultimate decision-making authority on key aspects of events, projects, and partnerships.
