2015 Bio-Med Tech-Girls

Bio-Med Tech-Girls: UVA Exploratory Experience is a collaboration with UVA Department of Biomedical Engineering and the Coulter Translational Research Partnership. The experience provides an opportunity for high school students to get a hands-on, behind-the-scenes peek at biomedical research happening right now at UVA. Special emphasis is placed on sharing projects and meeting researchers, faculty & students that help incorporate technology & engineering into the field. The pilot for this experience in 2014 was such a great success that we have added a day to get hands-on with tech at St. Anne’s-Belfield School’s Computer Science Lab.
