Girls' Geek Day - February 28
Girls' Geek Days are all about sparking elementary school-aged girls' interest in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) by providing a fun, collaborative, hands-on environment to learn new skills and helping them connect to other STEM programs in the community. Participants will have the option to choose 3 different hands-on STEM activity sessions to join throughout the morning.

Charlottesville Women in Tech is excited to announce new incoming funding thanks to a transformative grant from The Rota Foundation. This investment will accelerate CWIT’s We Tech initiative, expanding programs designed to inspire, support, and empower women and girls in technology across Central Virginia.

We Tech Initiative
With support from The Rota Foundation, CWIT launched the We Tech Initiative to expand opportunities for women and girls across Central Virginia through the Tech-Girls Student Advisory Board, the We Tech-Girls Middle School Program, and the We Tech Summit.
Planning for the Student Advisory Board is underway with students and educators from St. Anne’s-Belfield School. Learn how you can get involved and help shape the future of technology in our community. |
